Death Valley to install largest solar energy system in U.S.

Next March, visitors to Death Valley National Park will experience the benefits of the largest solar photovoltaic system in the country. Xanterra Parks & Resorts plans to install a one-megawatt system to generate more than one-third of the annual electricity needs for Furnace Creek Inn, Furnace Creek Ranch, and employee offices and housing.
