ABA on the way!
So, who else is invading Bangor in two weeks? (Click on the map to see a larger version.)
I'm really looking forward to this year's American Birding Association convention for various reasons:
1) It'll be my first visit to the Pine Tree State.
2) I'll undoubtedly see many new birds.
3) Friends and colleagues also will attend the convention.
4) I get to share a room with BirdChick.
5) My field trip choices came through: Schoodic Peninsula on Tuesday, northern boreal forests on Thursday and Acadia National Park on Saturday.
6) And I hope to see many of Maine's state bird, because these little guys don't visit my neck of the desert:
