Not strictly speaking a "bird" festival, but the 2010 Tucson Festival of Books includes a panel discussion about the significance and future of the field guide, with Jon Dunn and Elizabeth Rosenthal. That conversation takes place at 1:00 pm March 13.
The 7th Annual Adams County Amish Bird Symposium is being held March 6th in West Union, Ohio. Details and registration can be found at:
