Duck Stamp judging on Friday
Do you live in or near Memphis, Tenn.? You might enjoy visiting Memphis College of Art for the preliminary judging of the 2006 Federal Duck Stamp Art Contest on Friday evening and the final judging on Saturday morning.
The college's Conservation Through Art program will begin Sept. 25 and culminate in the contest judging. The winning artwork will appear on the 2007-8 Federal Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation Stamp aka Duck Stamp. Almost 300 artists submitted entries featuring American Wigeon, Cinnamon Teal, Gadwall, Ring-necked Duck and Wood Duck.
