Ken Layne & The Corvids

How could I resist a band with "corvids" in the name? It wasn't possible... nor is it possible to not enjoy this meaty rock album by Ken Layne & The Corvids.

Some reviews called Fought Down "alt-country." I just call it darn good, particularly "Mama, Take Another Stand." Take a listen, and lemme know what you think.
